Join us for the "Adopt-A-Road" 1,000 Mile Challenge

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit Board Member and Macomb County Executive, Mark Hackel challenged residents, businesses and organizations to adopt 1,000 miles of county road under the Adopt-A-County Road program.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit staff members stepped up to the challenge and participated in our first Adopt-A-Road 1,000 Mile Challenge on Saturday, June 30th.  Staff were excited to support Mark Hackel’s efforts by cleaning a section of road on 14 Mile between Van Dyke and Mound Road to contribute to the beautification of Macomb County.  During the clean-up drivers honked in support.   The next clean-up will be held sometime in mid- August.  We look forward to seeing you there!
