Since it's founding in 1906 at Cornell University, Alpha Phi Alpha has made numerous contributions to society. Since the early 1990s, the fraternity's partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters has made an impact on the number of African-American boys placed in matches across the country, helping us reach our collective goal of changing what it means for a boy to grow up in America.
Mark became a "Big" in 2001 with his first Little named Devan. Their relationship grew as Devan got taller and more mature. His commitment to his second Little, Crispin, and his current Little Elijah, strengthens his desire to develop young boys into men.
We are extremely proud of Mark and look forward to supporting his successful tenure as General President. Thank you for leading by example!
