Comcast, in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit, launched its 4thyear of the Beyond School Walls program with McIntyre Elementary School in Southfield, MI. The Beyond School Walls site-based program was established as a national partnership between Comcast and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. The program has currently launched in 14 schools nationwide and the partnership looks to continue to evolve, touching the lives of more youth throughout the country. Since its inception in 2008, Beyond School Walls Littles have improved in their school attendance, have witnessed improved relationships with their families, peers, and adults, and have reduced their perceived likelihood to use addictive substances.
