Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit (BBBSMD) is pleased to announce its 2014-2015 Ambassador Board (AB) Members. Nineteen dynamic young professionals have committed to the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit by volunteering their time and talents to creating opportunities for metro Detroit youth through mentoring. These appointments reflect the Agency’s ongoing commitment to finding the very best emerging community leaders from across Southeastern Michigan to expand the reach of the organization.

The Ambassador Board was formed to complement the Agency’s Executive Board efforts through the sponsorship and execution of fundraising events, recruitment of caring adult volunteers, and by helping to increase the number of children served through the heightening of brand and public awareness of organizational services in a fun and collaborative environment. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit, welcomes the following individuals to the 2014 – 2015 Ambassador Board:

The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit 2014-2015 Ambassador Board commenced in official capacity on Wednesday, July 3rd, hosted their first event on August 8th, and is hard at work planning events and building community relationships.

“We are truly privileged to welcome nineteen dynamic, community-driven young professionals from the metro Detroit area to our newly engaged Ambassador Board,” shared Cheryl Haithco, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit Vice President of Development. “Together we will embark on new mentoring initiatives, bringing added awareness to our Agency services, and recruiting additional volunteers for the youth we serve through the energetic ambition and various skill sets of our new young professional organization.”
